Applicants should read, in full, the Grant Making Strategy Policy Document before completing the application form. Please note the Trustees only support applications from charities and Universities operating in the “Preferred Locations” of Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.

There is no deadline for submission of an application. The Trustees meet twice a year so submit your application when you are ready.

Medical grants are prioritised to research in the North West of England for sums up to a maximum of £25,000 and ordinarily are for areas such as “pilot study” costs or equipment.

If you are applying on behalf of a Registered Charity please ensure that the charity’s most recent Annual Report and Accounts are attached to the Application Form. For successful applicants, a brief report understandable by someone without a scientific background will be required to be sent to the Secretary at the end of the project detailing its outcomes and impacts
